We were approached by the band ‘Elder Island’ in 2021 soon after the launch of the 828 MK3 with a request to make two heavily modified 828’s for their touring technical requirements.
The mixers would have 4 microphone channels and 4 stereo channels with direct outputs on each channel brought out on a series of DB25 connectors. Each channel could be removed or added to the bus via an illuminated switch to a specially made circuit board which amplified and buiffered the audio through relays to the direct output connectors.
