 Phonopak
2
The Alice Phonopak 2 is a broadcast quality RIAA equalised
dual turntable/phono pre-amplifier optimized for use with moving magnet
cartridges. Features include a selectable 20Hz rumble filter and selectable
input capacitance. Gain is adjustable via multi-turn presets in the range
35dB to 55dB. Frequency response is held within 0.5dB of the RIAA curve
and noise is typically better than -84dB RMS A weighted at 40dB gain.
The Phonopak 2 is a dual unit and can interface up to two
turntables. Housed in a convenient 1U aluminum case, the Phonopak 2 can
be free standing, easily mounted into a woodwork system, or fitted into
a rack with use of the RPK-1 Adaptor. Inputs are via phono connectors
and the balanced outputs via Neutrik XLR connectors, which may be wired
unbalanced if required. Mains input is via an IEC connector.
